The Northern Loop takes you from Baltra ,the former U.S. military base protecting the Panama Canal, to Black Turtle Cove where you will experience an exhilarating zodiac trip, spotting a range of rare wildlife, including white-tip reef sharks. Moving on, you’ll visit Puerto Egas for a taste of Galapagos geology. Snorkelling, Galapagos fur seals and crystal-clear coves are just some of the highlights as you move around the islands. Vicente Roca Point is perfect for snorkelling, while Urvina Bay houses land iguanas and giant tortoises. Across Bartolomé, Darwin Bay and Puerto Ayora, you’ll see more breathtaking natural beauty and wildlife.

The first stop on the Southern Loop takes you to North Seymour Island where layers of lava that originally erupted underwater have now created a low-layered island packed with wildlife, giving you the opportunity to get up close to seal pups in South Plaza. Santa Fe Island sits southwest of Santa Cruz, which is one of the oldest islands in the Galapagos. Cruise to Punta Pitt which is a truly unique destination – it is the only place in the Galapagos where you are able to witness all three species of boobies in one place before being transported to Gardner Bay, home to one of the longest beaches in the Galapagos. Here you will visit a sea lion colony and search for more wildlife, such as the startlingly red Sally Lightfoot crabs.
